Jude has been randomly choosing things to look up online. The other day I asked him to write 5 facts about what he looked up. He wrote (very well too) 5 good sentences on Haiti.
He has been getting National Geographic Kids mag. and LOVES it! This month we are starting a monthly animal and Jude has filled out a sheet about the black bear. I will take pics at the end of the month when he is done adding info. He has been adding to his rock collection. He found a shell fossil in one of the rocks from Papaw's. He was beyond excited!
When Jude has been writing he's been asking how to spell things! This is a huge progress, he used to just try and get angry and now he is learning to ask for help. He also is really starting to not hate math! We've been doing the workbooks together and he says "this isn't too bad" lol
He is still reading chapter books for rewards!
Lainey has been walking better and better! She has grown a ton too! She started dancing when music is on from time to time! It is adorable. She also started smacking her hands together when she is angry. Doesn't seem like a good thing but we see it as her communicating so it's great to us!
Both of the kids love the mini trampoline! Such good exercise and balance therapy too! Jude has been target practicing with a BB gun. He is being very responsible with it! He is showing such maturity here lately!
Jude saw the calendar has Australia Day tomorrow so he wants to study about Australia and make up games and crafts! For meals we are having "Wallaby Wraps" for lunch and "Kangaroo Joeys"(sloppy joes) for supper! Such a clever boy!
Jude and I were having lunch at the table and Lainey tried to pull out the chair (I helped her) and she climbed up there with us and sat down!

This is Jude's amazing design for a Star Wars tank. If you know about Star Wars you can see the different characters!
Jude out of the blue drew this cross section of a deer. It looks like he copied it from a book but he just drew it from him imagination!
This is play-doh that had dried out. Jude was fascinated to see the crystallization.
These are the cookies we made representing the 10 plagues in Exodus. From left to right top to bottom: River of blood, Frogs, gnats, flies, Hebrew animals live/Egyptian animals die, boils, hail, locusts (eating the crops lol), darkness, death of first born.
Jude is "catching" manna!
