Summer!

It's been so long since I've posted! Jude has decided that he wants to not do much "schoolwork" this summer so there isn't much to post. He has chosen to write a Star Wars story!! We are so tickled! I told him to take his time and try his best. I read over the three lines he has written and the spelling is beyond awful! lol Guess I'll be trying to nudge him into spelling practice! I'll never understand how a boy who can read so well spells so poorly! He says he'd like to do more workbooks this fall or rather he realizes that he can't learn math and writing if he doesn't practice! We will see how it goes! He just relaxing this summer! I'm not sure he gets that he's learning all the time yet! LOL Oh well, he seems to be having a great summer.


Lainey gets her braces this week! She is getting a Boston back brace and two low foot/ankle braces. It will be a big adjustment for her. I pray it goes smoothly! We have been working with "on and off" with her. She watches intently so hopefully it will sink in. I've been dropping things in a cup(for in and out) and she giggles until she's red in the face! I can't get her to let me use her hand to drop in yet but we are working on it. Two times now she has taken the cup by the rim and tilted to see if the item was inside!! She doing great!

I will probably post a summer ending blog about somethings that happened this summer. I hope everyone has a great summer!
